How to get the right amount of sunscreen for application?

CHOSEN has introduced the Sunscreen Scoop, an accessory designed to help you apply the precise amount of sunscreen for optimal sun protection.

The sun screen scoop is an easy to use measuring tool developed based on research conducted by Srinivas et al. It determines the total quantity of sunscreen needed for the face for both men and women in millilitres (ml).

Based on our findings, an estimated 1.3 ml of SAFESCREEN sunscreen is recommended for facial application, considering the average surface area of Indian male and female faces as determined in this study. However, considering different facial variability, we have introduced the sunscreen calculator.

Simply enter your height and weight into the calculator, and it will recommend the appropriate amount of sunscreen for your face, arms and legs in millilitres. Then, choose the scoop size that closely matches the suggested amount.

To accommodate various Indian facial needs, we currently offer three variants of sun screen scoops: a 1ml scoop, a 1.25ml scoop and 1.3ml scoop.
